A different kind of family portrait

OK so now the Compact Camera Challenge has completed, I’m able to catch up with a number of other projects that have been taking place over the last few weeks.

First up is a family portrait.  I’m always keen to produce different kind of images and try hard to stand out from the crowd.  In this instance I was asked to take a family portrait of the recipients grandchildren.  I went to the house, posed the subjects and snapped away.  After a short time in the garden I walked away with series of images, close ups, head shots, full length and fun stuff.

I couldn’t choose between them so I ended up producing a composite image for the client.  After a few roughs we ended up on the image below.  It’s now pride of place on the grandfather’s wall and I’m told he likes it a lot.

If you like this please take a look at the other composite images in the Creatives section on the website
